Officials with Jack’s Restaurants released information this week about the planned opening of their new location in East Brewton.
In a press release, the corporation, headquartered in Homewood, said the projected opening is just a little more than a week away. No specific date was released, however it is expected to open “early August,” officials said.
“We’re thrilled to extend our footprint in the East Brewton,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess. “Guests can always expect genuine Southern hospitality along with quality food they can proudly serve their families.”
The new Jack’s location will bring Southern-hearty food and an estimated 50-60 new jobs to the city. Individuals in and around the East Brewton/Brewton community interested in employment opportunities are encouraged to apply for available part and full-time positions. Jack’s will be located on the at 819 Forrest Ave. in East Brewton.
The new location has been under construction since March of this year. The restaurant will showcase the brand’s Southern Charm design, featuring rocking chairs on the front porch, dining room seating big enough for the whole family, and a window to watch their biscuits being made-from-scratch.
