East Brewton officials and staff of the new Jack’s Restaurant gathered Monday to officially open the restaurant and hold ribbon cutting ceremonies.
Karmen Baker, Senior Field Marketing Specialist or Jack’s, welcomed those attending the ceremonies at the new restaurant.
“Thank you all for being here,” Baker said. “We are happy to be here and love to be a part of the community. If there is ever anything you need, reach out or stop by. We hope you all enjoy our handmade, southern offerings here in East Brewton.”
East Brewton Mayor Terry Clark said the opening of the restaurant is just one more feather in the city’s cap.
“We are so excited to have them here,” Clark said. “We believe this is the start of many things.”
Clark said the city welcomed the Jack’s Restaurant family into the city and would love to welcome more business to the city.
“We will open our arms to anyone that wants to come to business in East Brewton,” Clark said. “We are open for business and ready to help.”
The restaurant held as soft opening on Friday for dignitaries around the city and held their official opening to the public at 5 a.m. on Monday. Just before opening, a line of eager diners awaited the opening with the first 50 customers receiving free breakfast for a month.
Hours are 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday with a 6 a.m. open on Sundays.
