A familiar face to Brewton area residents has been promoted to the top position of a Monroeville bank.
In a press release from Trustmark, the announcement was made placing Simmons at the top spot of the bank in Monroe county.
“Trustmark is pleased to announce that Ginger Simmons has been promoted to President in Monroeville, where she serves as Community Relationship Manager,” the release said. She has over 24 years of financial industry experience.
Simmons earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Huntingdon College. She currently serves as President-elect of the Board of Directors for the Kiwanis Club of Monroeville and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of HIPPY of Monroe County. Simmions is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce.
Trustmark boasts offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
