The T.R. Miller Tigers would dominate in the game against the Thorsby Rebels Friday night in the first round of AHSAA Play Off action.

The Tigers would make all the points until the third quarter racking up 49 points.

As the second half began, officials ruled to “run the clock” and set the remaining two quarters at six minutes each.

With Thorsby taking the kick to begin the final half of the game, it would be the only possession that would get them into Tiger territory for the night. The possession ended with a cross into the end zone and six points on the board. A good PAT gives them seven, which would be their only score on the night.

The Tigers will advance to the second round of play off action next Friday taking on the winner of the Randolph County vs. Trinity game. (The score of that game was not known at time of publication).

If Randolph County wins, T.R. Miller will host. If Trinity wins, the Tigers will be on the road for that game.

Regardless of location, the kick off will be at 7 p.m.
