Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The angels are up at Walmart, and the Christmas Project is looking for your help.
Shoppers can simply take an angel off the tree and purchase a toy they want to give a child aged 14 and under. Donors have until Monday, December 16 to return their gift(s) along with the angel card to the Chamber of Commerce office at Brewton City Hall.
There’s an added opportunity for anyone interested; the angel card has a space for shoppers to share information about a family who has experienced the loss of a child. The Christmas Project will use that information to send a special memorial card to the loved ones. Everyone appreciates being remembered at Christmas, but especially when dealing with loss. Consider buying a gift and filling out the angel card.
The Christmas Project has been helping children and seniors in Brewton, East Brewton and Flomaton for more than 36 years.
This year, they expect to support more than 400 children and 100 seniors. This is regularly possible because of the generosity of citizens in the greater Brewton area.
Information included on the “Angels” from the tree include age, sex and other factors to consider when making purchases.
Please bring unwrapped gifts so that sorting prior to distribution.
For those who wish to participate but are unable to shop for items, monetary donations may also be made at the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce offices inside Brewton City Hall located at 1010 Douglas Avenue in Brewton.
