An overcast sky didn’t keep any music lovers away from Porchfest 2024. Even with clouds hanging throughout the afternoon’s performances, hundreds of fans turned out to hear local musicians along Evergreen and Belleville Avenues at the annual event.
The finale event drew nearly 1,000 fans as “The King of Pop” took the stage.
After dealing with technical difficulties that took some time to correct, the show began a little later than expected, but those in attendance were honored for their patience with a stellar performance by Bobby Miller as “The King of Pop,” Michael Jackson.
The performer is known for his musical impersonations of Jackson and Prince, which was the finale event at last year’s Porchfest event.
The 2024 Porchfest drew a large number of people throughout the afternoon as local artists and band performed on porches throughout the neighborhood.
As the finale began more than 1,000 people enjoyed the performance with a throng of fans dancing along with Miller.
Porchfest has become an annual draw for area residents under the leadership of Chamber officials and staff.
