Brewton and East Brewton merchants are gearing up for the annual Holiday Kick Off event set for Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event, spearheaded by the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce, gives area shoppers an early opportunity to take care of holiday shopping.
With special sales, refreshments, entertainment and more, the event is aimed at keeping local shopping dollars moving through the local shops for the holiday season.
Entertainment and food trucks will also be situated throughout the business district to create a special holiday atmosphere.
According to Chamber officials, some of the expected offerings for the evening will include:
The L House-716 Douglas Avenue, 4:30-6:30 pm: Pictures with Santa! $25 session;
Jus Do – 720 Douglas Avenue: 10am-8pm. 20 percent off store wide all day. Drawing at the end of the night for various items. Register with purchase. From 4-8 p.m. Brewton Police Department will be selling cotton candy, proceeds go to fund Shop With A Cop; Cindy’s Krack Shack will be on site selling freeze dried candy; Matt Sewell with be selling Butta Sauce, Brewton Civic League will be selling 12 Days of Christmas tickets.
At Herrington’s the Florist-719 Douglas Avenue, 4-7pm: New waterproof jewelry lines, unique gifts, custom bows and tree decorations, gourmet foods, wedding and baby gifts and fresh flowers. Enter to win a door prize with each purchase. 20 percent off store wide 50 percent off fall items, Just Noonies and Wooly Boogers will be onsite!
At Brewton Brew, 719 Douglas Avenue: Extended hours to celebrate Holiday Kick-off! New drinks. Present your Herrington’s receipt for 10 percent off your purchase.
At Talula Belles, 707 Douglas Avenue, open until 7 p.m. Awesome deals all day long! New arrivals, giveaways and many other great surprises!
