Mrs. Barlice Cunningham White, 84, of McMillan Avenue, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Clay County and a longtime resident of Brewton. She was a member of Brewton First United Methodist Church and she had owned and operated The Ritz Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her husband, Walter White of Brewton; two sons, John (Janet) Cunningham and Charles Cunningham, both of Brewton; one step daughter, Marsha (Clyde) Bear of Montgomery; three brothers, Clayton (Fredia) Riddle of Pensacola, Fla., and Memphis (Bama) Riddle and Driskell (Jackie) Riddle, both of Brewton; two sisters, Mary Ogletree of Brewton, and Sarah (Vance) Moore of Jacksonville, Ala.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 21, at 11:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Glaize officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
