The Brewton Police Department has stepped up efforts to capture a suspected drug dealer who is on the run.
Last week, Brewton Police and other members of the 21st Judicial Drug Task Force made an arrest of three individuals and charged them with unlawful possession of marijuana, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
We applaud the efforts of our area law enforcement agencies for their work in the fight against drugs.
By offering a reward, Brewton Police are showing they are serious about fighting this type of crime in our city.
The dedication shown by Chief McGougin reminds us of a comment he made in an earlier story relating to drug problems in Brewton.
Our thanks to the chief for the efforts of his office and the entire department.
