The Jefferson Davis Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa held its spring semester induction ceremony in the Neal Center Auditorium on the Brewton campus.
The Reverend Dorothy Davis, pastor of Pleasant Grove AME Zion of Evergreen, was the guest speaker at the ceremony. In recognition of the 2007 Phi Theta Kappa Honors Study topic, Gold, Gods, Glory: The Global Dynamics of Power, The Rev. Davis challenged the inductees to harness their spiritual power within as they pursue worthwhile academic and career goals.
Chapter President Kiana Lee and chapter vice president Kristen Larrimore led the induction ceremony for the new members.
Faculty advisors for the chapter are Loletta Redmon and Mike Tedder.
