Mr. John Henry Kelly, 86, of Crosley Lane, died Friday, May 18, 2007, in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the American Legion and a retired office machine repairman.
He is survived by two step-daughters, Doris (Sam) Wright of Brewton, and JoAnn (Gerald) Fore of East Brewton; two step-sons, Jimmy Douglas of East Brewton, and Kenny Harris of Roberts; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Quick officiating. Burial followed at Elim Cemetery in Roberts, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
