JDCC's Granade, Bonds
earn Academic honors
Two Jefferson Davis Community College sophomore baseball players have received National Junior College Athletic Association Academic All-American honors for the 2006-07 school year.
Alex Granade, a 2004 Flomaton High School graduate, received Distinguished Academic All-American honors with a 3.95 grade point average. Student-athletes had to maintain a GPA of 3.80 or higher to earn that status.
Bonds, a 2005 Flomaton High School graduate, received Academic All-American status with a 3.63 GPA. Student-athletes had to maintain a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79 to earn that honor.
