Brewton’s 10U Cal Ripken baseball all-stars will be heading to Coosa for their state tournament Saturday.
Brewton will be one of 15 teams playing in the state tournament. Five teams will play in three different pools with Brewton being in Poll B along with Coosa, Ashland, Childersburg and Greensboro.
Pool A will consist of Westside, Roanoke, Sumter, Southern and Alex City while Pool C will see Matthews Park, Florence, Atmore, Monrovia and Sylacauga in it.
In pool play, the first team listed is the home team while in bracket play, the tea, with the highest seed will be the home team. In championship play, the home team will be determined by a coin toss. The top two teams in each pool will move on and two at-large teams with best record/tie breaker.
