W.S. Neal was the first to get on the scoreboard as they used the legs of Jason Bailey on the first three plays to move the ball to the T.R. Miller 17 yard line. After a holding penalty and some negative plays, Eagle quarterback Donald Peacock connected with Jeremy Alexander for a 7-yard touchdown to make it a 6-0 W.S. Neal lead after the two-point conversion failed with 3:57 left in the first quarter.
After taking over on offense, T.R. Miller quarterback Wil Riggs connected on a 31-yard pass to Terez Lane to move the ball to the W.S. Neal 35-yard line. After a holding penalty on Miller and a quarterback sack, moved the ball back to midfield, David Ikner rushed for 18 yards moving the ball to the 32-yard line before rushing for 15 yards setting up a Jackson touchdown to tie the game a 6-6 with 7:00 left in the half.
Neal's Bailey for went right back to work who helped move the ball to the Tiger 15-yard line setting up another Eagle touchdown made the score 12-6 with 3:47 left.
T.R. Miller benefitted from a 27-yard pass reception from Riggs to Matthews as they moved down to the W.S. Neal 10-yard line setting up an 8-yard touchdown run from Jackson as Miller took a 14-12 lead at the half.
The second half was all T.R. Miller as the Tigers rushed for more than 200 yards and the Tiger defense held W.S. Neal without any points. The Tigers were able to take a 20-12 lead after a Herbert interception on defense set the Tigers up with great field position on the W.S. Neal 22-yard line. Herbert rushed 22 yards for the score with 4:36 left in the third quarter.
The W.S. Neal offense then seemed to find its groove as they marched all the way down to the T.R. Miller 7- yard line courtesy of Bailey's rushing and a 26-yard Peacock to Alexander pass reception, but a fumble recovery by the Tigers at their own one-yard line ended the threat.
T.R. Miller then went 99yards on 13 plays to take a 26-12 lead with 1:29 left in the game and was able to hang on for the victory.
