The Brewton Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of a new family practice physician to the Brewton medical community. Scott Moore, M.D. will begin his practice as a member of the Brewton Medical Center in July of 2015.
“Dr. Moore is a great addition to the Brewton medical community,” said Tommy Shehan, administrator for the Brewton Medical Center.
Dr. Moore joins the Brewton Medical Center after recently serving patients in the Jay and Century, Fla., communities as a staff physician for Baptist Health Care. In addition, Dr. Moore is a staff physician at Century Medical Center and Jay Hospital. Prior to practicing in Jay and Century, he worked as medical director in Winchester, Ky., for 10 years.
Dr. Moore earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Dayton Community Family Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Moore will begin seeing patients at the Brewton Medical Center on July 8. New patients will be able to schedule an appointment by contacting the Brewton Medical Center at 251.867.6071.
