The T.R. Miller girl and boy’s varsity basketball teams picked up wins on Monday and Tuesday over Excel and Flomaton respectively.

 

Excel 16, TRM 46 (girls)

Leading Miller was Mekhia Williams with 13 points, three rebounds, five steals and four assists; and Janazsia Nettles with 10 points, three rebounds and four assists.

 

Excel 41, TRM 58 (boys)

Leading the Tigers was Michael Smith with 18 points and six rebounds; and Chardian Johnson with 13 points, six rebounds and six assists.

 

FHS 27, TRM 36 (girls)

Leading the Lady Tigers was Mekhia Williams 15 points, five rebounds and three steals; and Kyla with four points, three steals and 18 rebounds.

 

FHS 54, TRM 58 (boys)

Leading Miller was Chardian Johnson with 34 points; and Ahmaud Taylor with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

 

The girl’s team is 20-3 for the season.

The boy’s team is 10-10 for the season.

 

The Tigers will close out their regular season Friday night at home against Escambia County. Games start at 4:30 p.m. for the B-team; followed by girl’s varsity at 6 p.m., then boy’s varsity at 7:30 p.m. Seniors will be honored for senior night.
