BMS gets first win

The Brewton Middle School basketball teams picked up their first win of the season Thursday night at home with wins over Repton.
The boys team won 34-25 while the girls team won 19-10.
For the boys (1-1), Darrion Salter led the Tigers with 10 points, as Tyler Dehoff was next with 8 points.
Conner Denton and Kameron Winn each had 4 points each as Marc Edge and Jerric Woods each had 3. Caleb Hubbard added 2 points for the Tigers.
In BMS' loss to Escambia County, Conner Denton and Jerric Woods had 6 points each to lead the Tigers.
Darrion Salter added 4 points as Tyler Dehoff had 3 points in the 43-19 loss.
The Brewton Middle School girls team (1-1) evened their record up as they defeated Repton 19-10.
Taylor Guthrie led with 7 points as Jerrica Watson had 4. Haley Brown and Gerri Samuel added 3 points as Lauren Bradley added 2.
Both teams will be off until Nov. 26 when they host W.S. Neal Middle School on Monday with a 4 p.m. scheduled tip.
