The T.R. Miller cross country team competed in the Gulf Coast XC Stampede in Pensacola, Fla., this past weekend. The girls finished ninth overall out of 23 teams. The boys finished No. 17 out of 26 teams.

The Tigers top performer was Allie Nelson who placed third overall with a time of 19:10.60. Teammate Olivia Blackmon joined Nelson as the only Tigers to place in the top 50. Blackmon finished with a time of 21:39.70.

The top runner for the boys was Travis Carlson placing at No. 76 with a time of 18:25.20.

The cross-country team will be in action this Saturday at home in the T.R. Miller Challenge at the Brewton Middle School. Runners will begin at 8 a.m.
