A Saturday crash in the Bradley Community has claimed the life of a Wing woman and injured two others.

Alabama State Trooper Public Information Office Kevin Cook said the two-vehicle accident occurred on Escambia County Road 4 some 25 miles from East Brewton.

Martha Reeves Sowell, 62, was critically injured when the 2008 Lincoln Town Car she was driving collided with a 2012 Nissan Versa driven by Amber Clark of Crestview, Fla.

Sowell, who was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital, died Monday from her injuries.

Clark and an unidentified passenger were transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Cook said the preliminary investigation indicates speed might have played a factor in the crash.
