Lady Eagles suffer blowout loss to Satsuma

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles suffered a bruising loss this past Friday versus Satsuma, as the Lady Gators connected for 14 hits in its 16-3 victory.
Satsuma scored five runs in the top of the first inning. Neal responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning via a line drive RBI double by Tori Wyatt, bunt single by Adria Barnett and pass ball.
Satsuma rebounded in the following innings, scoring two in the second, seven in the third, and two more runs in the fourth.
Makayla Crook was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Neal.
Barnett suffered the loss at pitcher, allowing 14 runs, seven earned, on thirteen hits and two walks. Taylor Peters came in to toss an inning of relief. She allowed two runs on one hit, one walk, and one strikeout.
The Lady Eagles are 2-2 for the season.
