Mr. Phillip Earl Ladnier, 63, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Mobile and a long-time resident of Brewton. He was a member of Brewton First United Methodist Church and a retired supervisor technician with AT&T. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Ladnier and a sister, Annie Jean Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Ladnier of Brewton; a son, Kevin Ladnier of Crestview, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Duguid of Millbrook; a brother, Kenneth Ladnier of Coden; a sister, Ramona Davis of Mobile and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery with Rev. Gary Daniel officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
