Warriors look too strong

It’s getting a little out of hand. Game No. 2 between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers started off close with the Warriors only leading by three at halftime. Looking at the final score it doesn’t seem the game was even a contest with the Warriors blowing out the Cavalieres 132-113.
Lebron James did pretty much everything on the floor to steal a game on the road against the star studded Warriors. With a stat line of 29 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists, you can’t ask for more from James. James, for the most part of the game, is also guarding arguably the Warriors best player in Kevin Durant.
Durant is playing lights out basketball on both sides of the court. He’s averaging 36 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the Finals. He had a game-high five blocks in Game No. 2. Steph Curry is cheffing it up, averaging 30 points in the finals. In Game No. 2 he had a triple double.
The fact of the matter is someone on the Cavs not named Lebron James will have to step up. Kevin Love is playing good ball. Kyrie Irving is playing good but not up to Irving standards.
A lot of credit goes to Warrior shooting guard Klay Thompson who has had the tough task of guarding the lethal Irving. Thompson has done a good job crowding Irving giving him the fits. Thompson’s shot also came alive in Game No. 2, and that’s not a good sign for the Cavs.
J.R. Smith has to play better for the Cavs. He has not been a factor at all. Tristan Thompson needs to do a better job on the boards. He hasn’t played up to his game. The perimeter shooters have to knock down shots.
Even with this said, I just don’t think the Cavs have enough fire power to challenge the Warriors.
The Cav’s did bounce back from a 3-1 deficit to win the championship last year, but that was last year. The Warriors didn’t have a four time scoring champion in Durant.
No offense to Harrison Barnes, but Durant is just special. There is nothing he can’t do on the floor. It’ll be a tough task guarding these Warriors.
We’ll see if the Cavs make adjustments tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
