The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its twenty-first Leadership Brewton program that starts in September and will conclude next May. A class of 10 men and women representing a cross-section of the Brewton area will be selected. There are no age, race or sex limitations to join the program.

Tuition costs will be $250. Participants may have all or part of their tuition paid by an employer or sponsoring organization.

The mission of Leadership Brewton is to develop an informed leadership for tomorrow among its citizens of today. Participants are exposed to a variety of viewpoints, which illustrate the array of economic, political, educational and social factors at work in the Brewton area. Upon completion, graduates will possess a unique understanding and appreciation of the inner workings of the Brewton community and will be excellent candidates to serve on local boards, committees and task forces.
