Mrs. Julia Lee, 94, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary January and Andrew Thomas; three brothers, Walter, Oscar and Arthur January; five sons, Cleveland Green, Willie Green, John D. Green, Willie C. Green, and Clint Green Jr.; and a daughter, Annie Green.
She is survived by five daughters, Rae Collins, Mattie (Billy) Barksdale, both of Brewton, Voncille Snider of Pensacola, Mary Autrey of New York, and Annie White of Mt. Dora, Fla.; two sons, Willie Frank (Barbara) Green of Brewton, and John Green of Castleberry; 42 grandchildren; 106 great-grandchildren; 50 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great -grandchild and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at Second St. John Missionary Baptist Church with pastor W.J. Dailey officiating. Burial followed at Old Springhill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
