The 10th annual Battle of Murder Creek blood drive is being hosted by D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital because when you give blood, patients and their families win every time.

Donors can give blood to save lives and vote for their favorite school team on Mon., Oct. 30, from noon until 7 p.m.

All donors will receive a OneBlood Halloween T-shirt; a wellness checkup; free hotdog lunch and entries into drawings for special prizes.

Generally healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood. Photo ID is required. To learn more about the importance of blood donation, visit oneblood.org.
