A Brewton woman was recently indicted for allegedly stealing $38,000 from a local insurance agency.
Leigh Graves Najor, 41, turned herself in last week after being indicted by an Escambia County grand jury for two counts of first-degree theft of property; two counts of second-degree theft of property and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
Reports show Najor is accused of stealing from Brewton Insurance and Real Estate Agency and allegedly removing employee time cards and/or deleting files from her work computer “with the intent to impair its use, verity or availability in a pending or prospective official proceeding.”
She was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center and later released on a $50,000 bond.
