The Alabama Democratic Conference Brewton Precinct will hold a parade for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Saturday, Jan. 13.

The theme for the parade is ‘Don’t Forget the Dream.’

The parade will start at noon on Sowell Road and end at the John L. Fisher Community Center.

Vendors will be set up at the school grounds.

Anyone interested in being a vendor can contact Joe Watson, or anyone in the ADC. The price for vendors is $25.

An MLK Celebration Service will be held the following day, Sunday, Jan 14, at Second Siloam Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 4 p.m.

Bishop Robert McWilliams will speak.

The ADC is asking the community and surrounding areas to come out and celebrate this historic occasion.
