First United Methodist’s wheelchair ramp men ministry held a meeting dinner to recognize WSN head coach Andro Williams.
He won all county coach of the year for 2017.
This is Williams first time coaching at Neal. “I am just blessed to have had a good run going 6 of 6 and making it to the second round of the playoffs,” said Williams.
“The kids responded and adjusted to a new style of coaching and a new program. We bought a successful year, we didn’t reach our goal, but it was a successful year. The success is not measured on wins and losses,” said Williams.
Williams is from Sweetwater, where he is a father, a husband and a coach. Williams wants to show how we should represent our kids in this community..
It’s your choice how you live your life, said Williams.
He said he wanted to make sure that he doesn’t miss a chance to tell a child about God.
