Flomaton defeat WSN

W.S. Neal took on Flomaton High School at home losing 51-38 Thursday where the Hurricanes controlled the Eagles from start to finish.
The Eagles struggled in the contest, with the halftime score being 19-5.
Leading scorer Jacobey Hawthorne led the Eagles with 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Mateo Smith and Marcus Page combined for 16 points, as they both scored eight points apiece. Smith grabbed three rebounds, two steals and a block with his eight points. Page also had eight boards, and two steals with his eight.
Marvin Maddox had six points, four rebounds and one assist. Tommaso Bartolucci, Matthew Thomas, and Lonnie Richardson combined for six. Bartolucci also had one rebound, Thomas grabbed one board, and Richardson grabbed seven boards, three steals, and one block.
Overall the Eagles grabbed six offensive rebounds and 22 defensive rebounds combining for a total of 28 rebounds.
“The second half we came back into the game, but we just dug into a hole and couldn’t get out,” said head coach Dewan Salter. We still not moving the ball like we suppose to”. Page shot the ball good to get us back close into the ball game.
“We just came out flat and our intensity wasn’t there,” said coach Dewan Salter.
