Hildred Bernard “HB” Harrelson, 76, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served seven years and was honorably discharged Oct. 1, 1969. He served 22 years as Battalion Chief, NAS Fire Department, Crash and Rescue Station #2. He owned Harrelson’s Cleaning Service for 15 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #481 in Locust Fork, Ala; a member of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Valley of Montgomery, Orient of Alabama #2019 and a member of Hadji Temple.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Ann Halford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Greeson Harrelson; his children, Donna Weaver and Donald Ray Stewart; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; twin sister Bernice Taylor and sister Sallie Fay Holiday.
Pallbearers will be Retired Firefighters from NAS Fire and Rescue Station #2.
Visitation was held on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at Pine Summit Baptist Church beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 12 p.m. Dr. Bob Green officiatied. Interment followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery, East Brewton, Ala. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at 11 a.m.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy, were entrusted with the arrangements.
