Multi-State agencies discovered a body in the Conecuh River on Sunday morning.

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Bill Blair said Monday that the body was found on the Conecuh River, three miles from the Pollard boat landing.

The body was a female.

The state of Florida is in charge of the investigation and the body has been sent for an autopsy.

It is not known at this present time, if this is possibly the body of 74-year-old, Eva McBride, the Pollard woman who disappeared from her home a little over two weeks ago.

The investigation will continue and an identification will be made at a later time.
