As Christmas week draws near, so does the highlight weeks of college football.
As Alabama gets set to battle Oklahoma on Dec. 29 and Notre Dame gets set to battle Clemson, there are a ton of questions surrounding college football.
The Tua question is certainly the huge one on every Alabama fans mind this week.
Will Tua play against Oklahoma?
At this point, the answer is yes.
Tua recently received ankle surgery after being injured in the contest against Georgia.
He is recovering well and has returned to practice.
This past week, he was on the Bama practice field throwing.
Tua is still favoring the injury and taking light step offs on it but is recovering and seems to be ready to play.
Many predictions are that Tua will start and at some point, Jalen Hurts will finish out the game.
It would be a horrible mistake to test the waters and Tua end up injured for a National Championship game situation.
The wise decision for Alabama would be, to start Tua if he is able and finish the game with Hurts to keep Tua safe.
Will we see that?
No one knows and everything seems to be secretive at this point.
Will Notre Dame defeat Clemson and make a drive to the National Championship?
Who knows, it is going to be one wild game between the two schools but the main factor in this game is history.
Clemson has defeated Alabama in the past for a National Championship and is more than capable of doing it twice.
They have appeared in the game several times over the past few years but they must first cross the road over Notre Dame.
Things are looking back into the Irish’s favor and they will be ready for a fight but are they going to be able to match up against Clemson?
Arguments have also sparked over the past weeks about the structure of the playoff setting.
Things have gotten heated and many think Georgia should have seen a spot in the playoff bracket.
Georgia, however, is on the prowl this week for early recruiting and has a strong chance of coming in strong next season.
Georgia is trying to surpass Alabama for the number one slot on recruiting and has been in a battle with them over five-star players.
Georgia has a number two class in the 2019 recruiting cycle and has four five-star commitments already.
Florida native, Trey Sanders is the No. 1 ranked running-back in the country and Alabama once had his commitment but has now backed out and is expected to commit to Georgia.
This would not be the first time Georgia has ripped a recruit away from Alabama.
What happens this week could determine who will be at top next season.
So this week is busy week in college football so sit back and hold on.
Alabama will face Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.
Notre Dame will face Clemson in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29 at 3 p.m.
