The Brewton Council of the Arts will bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Brewton in the form of “The Pied Piper.” 

Each year the Missoula Children’s Theatre comes to Brewton, through the work of the Brewton Council of the Arts. It gives the young people a chance to act and wear the costumes of children’s favorite characters. Auditions for students in grades K-12 will be held Monday, Jan. 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Coastal Alabama Community College in Alco.

Auditions will last two hours and there are approximately 50 parts available for students of all ages. The audition does not guarantee a role.

Those who receive a part will be expected to be at practice each afternoon from 3:30 to 8 p.m on Monday through Friday. Younger actors are usually finished by 5:30 p.m. 

Have a snack/dinner on site to eat during the break around 5:30 p.m. 

The performance will be Sat., Feb. 2, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Coastal Alabama Community College Auditorium.Tickets will be sold at the door. Adult tickets will be $10; student tickets (age 6 and up) will be $5; children (ages 4-5) will be $1 and those age 3 and under get in for free.
