The time has come to put last season behind us, and more on to the promising future.

The Tigers who went (6-5) last year, look for a better turnout in the 2019 season.

For the second year head coach Keith Etherdege, he is excited about his upcoming team and the goal is to make it to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to play for a state championship.

“ We are losing some depth in our senior class, but all our underclassmen are back. We returning our three dynamic running backs Kevon Samuel, Darius Webb, and Narkavis Campbell. These three were all close for rushing a thousand yards. I’m  real excited about this freshman class that’s coming up. We will also be returning our quarterback Blake Jernigan, who got the start last season,”   Etheredge said. Coach concluded with saying, “My expectations are like every year, we’re going to go (15-0) and win a state championship. That’s the T. R. Miller way, and that is how it’s supposed to be.”  So, when August rolls around, the Tigers of TRM will be prepared and ready to do something that has only been done once in the history TRM Football, and that’s to have a perfect season with a State Championship.
