After the 92-84 loss against Mississippi State in Humphrey Coliseum, the Auburn Tigers are on a three game losing streak for the first time in two seasons. According to auburntigers.com, Auburn coach Bruce Pearl said, “Our offense was good. To score 84 points you should have a chance to win that basketball game, but they really dominated us on their offensive side. We really struggled to guard Mississippi State. They just had their way with us, they’ve got a really good offensive team. Coach [Ben Howland] runs good stuff. It was a clinic offensively. We couldn’t stop them. We couldn’t get any stops. That was the key.” The loss drops Auburn to an overall record of (13-6), and a conference record of (2-4). The Tigers return home on Wednesday to take on Missouri, then on Saturday February 2nd, they will host arch rival the Alabama Crimson Tide in the annual AUTLIVE game
