Mrs. Tinney Saffore, 97, died Feb. 29, 2008. She was a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Brewton. She was a member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Carrie Lee Williams; and her husband, Isaiah Saffore.
She is survived by her daughter, Ell Dora Lomax of Upper Marlor, Md.; 17 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held, Thursday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Hill with the Rev. Eric T. Andrews officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
