To the editor:
The Escambia County Habitat for Humanity would like to offer sincere thanks to those who supported our spring fundraiser event on May 4.
A special thanks to our title sponsor, Georgia-Pacific’s Brewton Mill. Their financial support helped make our “Dinner & A Movie” event possible and we appreciate their contribution.
Thank you as well to those who made donations toward our silent auction portion of the event. Those who contributed were Natural Decorations Incorporated, Jus’ Do, Tallulah Belle’s, Herrington’s the Florist, Weaver’s Apparel and Jewelry, Habitat Restore, Joy Odom and Momo Art, The Brewton Standard, Camp 31 BBQ, Wind Creek Hotel and Cooking School.
We would also like to thank Pig Daddy’s Barbecue and Catering for an excellent job on the food and to Flour Sack Bakery for the superb job on our reception cakes.
A simple “thank you” could never express our appreciation to those who supported us by purchasing a ticket to the event or making a financial contribution.
We look forward to offering another opportunity to allow the community to help us in our mission to provide safe, affordable housing for those in need in our county.
Thank you all.
