Mr. Lester Rabon, age 59 of South Forty Lane Brewton, Alabama, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2019 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Castleberry, Alabama and a lifelong resident of Conecuh and Escambia County, Alabama. He was of the Christian Faith, He attended the Conecuh County School System and was a former Diesel Mechanic at JR Trucking Company. He enjoyed spending time with family and working on old cars.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Susan Merritt Rabon of Brewton, Alabama; 2 sons, Austin (Olivia) Rabon of East Brewton, Alabama and Jason (Heather) Sawyer of Foley, Alabama; 5 daughters, Brooke Rabon Brewton, Alabama, Victoria Rabon of East Brewton, Alabama, Christie Sawyer of Brewton, Alabama, Samantha (Malachi) Cain of Repton, Alabama, and Valerie Adkins of Brewton, Alabama; 4 brothers,  Levi (Becky) Rabon of Castleberry, Alabama, Ernest (Debbie Jo) Rabon of Castleberry, Alabama, Darroll (Cindy) Rabon of Castleberry, Alabama, and Joe Rabon of Castleberry, Alabama; 3 sisters, Irma (Donald) Pipkin of Evergreen, Alabama, Sue Boyd of Brewton, Alabama, and Fae (Al) Dyess of Castleberry, Alabama; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. 

Rabon will be preceded in death by his Parents RJ and Ruby Hobbs Rabon; his daughter, Mitzi Rabon; and brothers, Wilbur Rabon and James Rabon

Visitation will be held Wednesday night June 19, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Brewton, Alabama. Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday morning June 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Homewith the Rev. Al Dyess and the Rev. Michael Cosey officiating. Interment will follow in Buffington Cemetery Castleberry, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Brewton, Alabama directing.
