D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Angelica Williams, NP has joined the staff of the D.W. McMillan After Hours Clinic. She began seeing patients April 1, 2020 and will be full-time working alongside Advanced Practice Practitioner, Ivey Brown, MSN, FNP-C.

“We are very happy to have Angelica join the D.W. McMillan team,” stated Rick Owens, hospital administrator. “We have been seeking someone to help fill our open provider position in the clinic for the last couple months and look forward to Angelica bringing her experience in the Brewton community to D.W. McMillan. In addition, she will be solidifying an already excellent healthcare staff at the After Hours Clinic.”

While discussing her new role at the After Hours Clinic, Williams stated, “I am looking forward to providing my community the same great quality of care so many are now use to at the After Hours Clinic.”

Williams received her Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of Alabama and completed her undergraduate studies from Shelton State Community College. More recently, Angelica provided patient wellness exams at the Brewton Medical Center. Prior to becoming the Wellness Clinic provider, Williams worked as an RN at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

According to hospital officials, standard office visit co-pays will apply for the Clinic. The D.W. McMillan After Hours Clinic will be open Monday – Friday from 4:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and weekends from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. The D.W.
