BankTrust of Brewton has added a new member to the staff at their Belleville Avenue offices.
Kevin Duffy recently joined BankTrust as vice president of commercial lending at the bank's main office.
John Barnett, BankTrust president, said Duffy appeared to be a good fit at their first meeting.
Duffy joins the BankTrust team after having been in the banking business since he graduated from Auburn University in 2001.
Duffy, who is also a 2003 graduate of the University of South Alabama's School of Banking, considers himself a banker by trade, but has a deep connection with his family.
Duffy said finding spare time is difficult, but he does have some outside interests.
Not only is Duffy a banker and a father, he is also a small business owner.
Duffy said he is looking forward to becoming a part of the Brewton community.
BankTrust of Brewton operates three branches. The main office is located on Belleville Avenue in downtown Brewton. The Northside branch is located on Douglas Avenue with the East Brewton branch located on Forrest Avenue.
