Mr. Melvin Eugene “Gene” Lambeth, 68, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at his Brewton residence. He was a native of Flomaton and had been a resident of the Foshee community for 30 years. He was a long-time employee of Craver's Funeral Home and had most recently worked for BFI Timerland.
He is survived by his wife, Catherin Lambeth of Brewton; two sons, Jason Keith (Kelley) Lambeth of Appleton and Branden Eugene (Jennifer) Lambeth of Brewton; a brother, John (Carolyn) Lambeth of Flomaton; a grandson, Dawson Keith Lambeth; and special friends, Jerry and Jean Windham.
Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at Weaver Cemetery with the Rev. Willie Renfroe and the Rev. Russ McDonald officiating with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jason Lambeth, Branden Lambeth, Bubba Jackson, Junior Simmons, Garland Chaudron and Lee Merritt.
