Mrs. Jessica Smith Flannigan, 20, died early Saturday, April 12, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident. She attended Jay High School. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Smith; her great-grandmothers, Willie Mae Williamson and Flora Mae Andrews; grandfathers, James Butler and Stanley Dean Smith Sr. 
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Flannigan; her mother and father Linda Smith and Stanley Dean Smith Jr.; a sister Leslie Smith; her grandmothers Gloria Butler and Barbara Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at Jay First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at Jay First Assembly of God Church with Brother Jim Lassiter officiating.  Burial will follow at Cobbtown Holiness Church Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing.  Pallbearers will be John Flannigan, JoJo Holden, Joey Holden, Gerald Welch, Chris Monroe and Wade Phillips.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Barlow, Andy Barlow, Ross Pettis, Clarence Earl Powell, Albert Smith, Brandon Welch, Brandon Watson, Aaron Nowling, and Westley Milstead.
