The links at the Country Club of Brewton found 19 four-member teams teeing off for the third annual Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic Thursday.
In the four-man scramble the Hines Realty team of Jack Hines, Jack Hines, Jr., Thomas Hines and Jack Cain won first place with a round of 58.
Bank of Brewton won second place with a 59, and David's Catfish House won third place with a 60.
Along with the first, second and third place prizes, individual prizes were also given out. Individual prizes for closest to the No. 4 pin was Bill Watson with the Dr. Susan McBride's Team; closest to the No. 7 pin was James Weaver with the First Exchange Bank team, longest drive on the No. 6 hole was Shanelle Johnson with the Boohaker, Shillaci &Co. team, and closest to the line on No. 16 was George Aust with the Peach Chevrolet team.
