Ducks, fireworks part of annual Fourth party

East Brewton is getting ready for its celebrated Fourth of July. There will be entertainment all day long, including the duck race set for 6 p.m. The highlight of the day will be the fireworks set for 9:30 p.m.
Karen Singleton, city clerk of East Brewton, said there would be plenty of food served.
The celebration will begin at 9 a.m. with the Spades tournament. At 1 p.m. Clark will be calling Bingo, and the horseshoe tournament will be at 4 p.m. A water slide and Sponge Bob inflatable will be ready to entertain the children.
