For area residents seeking a job for the first time or for those looking to make a change, a job fair set for today may be the answer.
A joint effort of the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Brewton Career Center, today’s event begins at 9 a.m. and will continue until 1 p.m. at the Brewton Civic Center (located behind Brewton City Hall).
Local employers will be on hand to speak with potential employees about openings at their respective businesses.
Planned to be on hand will be: Grede, ServPro, Amedisys, D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, Georgia Pacific, Provalus, Coastal Alabama Community College and the Alabama Department of Corrections. Other employers will also be present throughout the job fair schedule.
Those who attend are encouraged to wear business attire and bring resumes to provide to potential employers.
