WSN celebrates homecoming this week

Activities are already happening on the East Brewton campus of W.S. Neal High School in observance of Homecoming 2022.
The finale of the week-long celebration will be held Friday with a wide array of events planned for students and alumni of the school.
Judging of floats will begin at 8 a.m. Friday on the campus with alumni having an opportunity to tour the school beginning at 9:45 a.m.
A pep rally open to studnets and visitors will be held at 10:15 a.m. on the football field.
Students will be released from school at 11:30 a.m. Friday and floats will line up for the parade. All floats will be in line by 12:30 p.m.
The annual homecoming parade, lead by the Queen and her court, will begin at 1 p.m. from the school campus. The route will be the same as in years past traveling down Andrew Jackson Street to Forrest Avenue. The parade will continue through East Brewton and will end with disbanding along Snowden Street with floats returning the school for disassembly.
The stadium will open at 5 p.m. with pregame activities planned for 6:30 p.m. Kick off for the region game between WSN and Cottage Hill Christian will be at 7 p.m.
