Mr. Wayne T. O'Farrell, 60, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at a Mobile hospital. He was a member of the first graduating class of Mary G. Montgomery in 1966. He retired from the University of South Alabama with more than 31 years as groundskeeper and was a member of Lott Road Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Audia and Mazie O'Farrell, a brother, Wade O'Farrell; and uncle, Alfred Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kruithof O'Farrell; an aunt, Clodean Wilson; cousins, Doris Wood, Greg (Sabina) Wilson, Mike (Karen) Wilson and Dan Wilson; and a number of other friends and family.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland Monday, July 14, at 2 p.m. Burial followed at Valhalia Memorial Gardens in Eight Mile with Radney Funeral Home directing.
