After more than five decades of dedicated service to the Brewton community, Vision Center South Optometrist Dr. Carl McInnish is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and innovation.Dr. McInnish has been a beloved fixture in the Brewton area for years, and his patients and colleagues alike are grateful for his contributions to the field of optometry, as well as his positive impact on the community as a whole.Throughout his career, Dr. McInnish has helped thousands of patients, particularly children, to improve their visual health and processing through his innovative behavioral optometry techniques. He has also been a tireless advocate for his community, volunteering his time and resources to numerous charitable causes.“Dr. McInnish’s dedication to his patients and the Brewton community is truly unmatched,” said Tennille Finch, Senior Associate Administrator at Eye Center South. “We are grateful for his contributions over the years and wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement.”Despite his retirement, patients of Dr. McInnish need not worry. Dr. Tiana Mathieson, who has worked closely with Dr. McInnish for the past year, will continue to offer the same exceptional level of care to his patients.Vision Center South is also pleased to announce that they will be relocating to a new, more spacious location at 121 St. Joseph Avenue, effective June 1, 2023. This move will allow for expanded optical boutique offerings and improved overall comfort for patients.As Dr. McInnish begins this new chapter in his life, Vision Center South would like to express their gratitude and admiration for his decades of service and wish him and his family all the best in the years to come.
