Cattlemen’s Conference set in Atmore for August

The Alabama Cooperative Extension Services is making plans to host cattle produces from around the region with a special conference in August.
The event will be held Friday, Aug. 4 at Grace Fellowship Church in Atmore featuring top-notch speakers from across the Southeast covering topics directly related to beef cattle production along the Gulf Coast.
A full vendor trade show will also be a part of the event, allowing participants to interact with beef industry leaders and suppliers.

The day will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration and trade show viewing. Opening remarks will be at 8:30 a.m. from Ken Kelley, Alabama Cooperative Extension System. A short break at 10:45 a.m. will allow for more access to the day’s trade show. Lunch will be provided by Big Mike’s Steakhouse who will be serving brisket for the noon meal.
