If you got up thinking about an outdoor activity this weekend, a good place to start would be at the Paws Crossed Dog Rescue yard sale going on Friday and Saturday.

The sale will be at 110 Wilson Street in Brewton and will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Edie Kelley, one of the members of the board for Paws Crossed, said the funds raised from the sale will help to cover costs of vehicle tag and insurance for the van used by the group for transport and services. Any funds beyond those expenses will be put to use in caring for the animals currently under the Paws Crossed care teams.
